Tovah Rainsong, a successful massage therapist since 2009, graduated with honors with an Associate of Science degree in Massage Therapy from Whatcom Community College. She took over 900 hours of classes including three quarters of kinesiology, massage, and pathology, as well as classes ranging from ethics to business. She did her internship with Fairhaven Massage, working tandem with two massage therapists who each have 30-year careers in massage. She also has had training in pregnancy massage, Thai massage, water dance massage, and Shiatzu. She is a level one Reiki practitioner.
       Tovah has a varied and extensive background in health care. She has worked as a biomed technician, repairing medical equipment; as a caregiver and nursing assistant; as a wheelchair van operator; and as an activity director in retirement homes.
       She has a specialty in massage for the aging body. She also provides chair massage at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center each Thursday morning.
